Thank you for seeking enlightenment. I am Robert Torry, a research scientist by profession for the past 28 years, and teacher of esoteric science. I am a member of the International Guild of professional practitioners and also the Complementary Medical Associations, registered as a Reiki Master Teacher as well as a practitioner of Setsu Kido, an ancient bodywork therapy which can be used to release trauma at a cellular level.. My partner Lynn Clark, a former nurse for a similar number of years specialising in the care of those with learning limitations. Under the banner of the 'Circle of One', a charitable organisation of like minded people dedicated to helping, healing, and teaching, we endeavour to raise awareness and understanding of not only meta-physical issues, but also the broad spectrum of alternative and complementary therapies now coming to the fore.

My training as a scientist has given me firm footing in amongst the foothills of these often speculative therapies and theories...and so too with Reiki healing which now enjoys hundreds of thousands of practitioners worldwide. Faced with so many shades of Reiki and associated healing modalities, and so often asked about the merits and perceived differences between these systems, Lynn and I decided to learn all of the recognised systems currently taught worldwide ( as well as being open to the future teachings of what is after all a dynamic healing modality) to enable us to teach with the background of broad experience and understanding.
